Four Star Chili

Total Time: 2 hours
Makes 8 servings

1 lb. each boneless beef and pork pieces, 1/2 inch pieces
2 cups chopped onion
1/2 cup italian dressing
1 jar (16 oz.) mild salsa
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) beef broth
1 tbsp. chili powder
2 cans (15 oz. each) black beans, drained and rinsed
4 cups hot, cooked minute white rice

BROWN meat with onions in dressing in a dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

ADD salsa, broth and chili powder and stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover. Simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.

STIR in beans. Cook, uncovered for 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
